What we collect, and what we do with it

Short version: we keep your email address if you ask us to watch the market for you, and we keep what you type into the search so we can answer it. We never sell it, and we never pass it to an estate agent or a seller. The whole point of this service is that we work for the buyer, and a buyer’s details arriving on a seller’s desk would be the opposite of that.

What we collect

• Your email address — only when you give it to us: to save a search and send you new listings, to send a report on a property, or to reply to a message.
• What you type — your search wording, the questions you ask, and any listing links you send us. We need the text to answer it, and we keep it so the conversation still makes sense the next time you come back.
• Basic technical data — IP address and browser, recorded by the server the way every web server records them: to deliver the page and to spot abuse.

We do not ask for your name, your phone number, your address, or anything about your finances. If you write any of that into a message, it is stored as part of the message — so please don’t send us documents or bank details through the chat.

Who else sees it

Only the companies that make the service work, and only the part each one needs:

• Anthropic — the chat runs on their language model, so the text of your question is sent to them to be answered. Your email address is not.
• Hostinger — our server and our outgoing mail. They hold whatever is stored on the server and whatever is in an email we send you.
• Meta — we run a Meta pixel on this site. If you arrived from a Facebook or Instagram advert, it tells Meta that the click reached us and which pages you opened, so we can tell which advert was worth paying for. It does not receive your email address, and we never upload customer lists to Meta.

Where it is kept, and for how long

On a server in Paris, France — inside the EU, under the GDPR. Saved searches and their email addresses stay until you ask us to stop; conversations are kept while the service is being built so we can see what it gets wrong. Ask us to delete yours and we will, in full.

Your rights

Under the GDPR you can ask what we hold about you, have it corrected, have it deleted, get a copy of it, or object to us holding it at all. One email is enough — you do not need to give a reason, and there is no form.

Cookies

The Meta pixel described above sets a cookie so Meta can recognise a returning visitor. That is the only advertising cookie here — there is no Google Analytics, no advertising network, and nothing sold on to data brokers. Your browser also keeps a small amount of data on your own device so the site remembers what you were looking at between pages; that part never leaves your device.

Blocking it costs you nothing: the site works identically with the pixel blocked, and any browser set to reject third-party tracking already does so.

Changes

If we start collecting something new, this page changes on the same day, and the date at the top changes with it. We will not quietly widen what we do and leave the old text standing.
